Centuries ago, in a village in the hills of Benin, a young woman had to take the throne after her father died on the battlefield. Courageously accepting the gift that fate had laid at her feet, she did not bend before any adversary or enemy. Battle after battle, she led her people to victory, proving herself worthy of her title as Queen Yeba.
Queen Ceos was full of charisma, but also described as a strong, courageous and intelligent woman. She was respected by her warriors for her strength and loved by her people for her humanity. During her reign, she did what no other king had managed to do before: she forged alliances with the tribes of the sub-region and thus succeeded in establishing a lasting peace in the region forever.
